Nature Cleanup at Ōakura Beach on Saturday 24 January 10am (it is fine to be late!) Come and help us clean the beautiful Ōakura Beach and surroundings! This event is family and young kids-friendly! Your pēpi and tamariki are welcome! ALL WELCOME! You do NOT need to be “fit” or stay for the full 1.5 hours. Any help is MUCH APPRECIATED! 10am (or later) - Meet us at Ōakura Beach (main car park by the playground, corner of Tasman Parade and Shearer Dr) for a kōrero - briefing. Look for the Sustainable Taranaki flag! BYO gloves and buckets if possible, but we'll provide some if needed! 11.30am (or earlier) - Meeting back to drop off all the trash collected (we will separate all items to divert as much as we can from the landfill) No RSVP required! Just show up! The aim of this event is: to clean this location the best we can to divert trash from the landfill to engage and educate our community about waste and recycling to create a fun and meaningful event for families to connect with the environment and take action towards bettering sustainability/conservation This event is part of Taranaki TimeBank and you can use your hours later to exchange skills, time and knowledge. Hora: 18:00 Lloc: Sala 4 de la Biblioteca Pilarín Bayés Dirigida per Victor Salva el 2006, aquesta pel·lícula germano-estatunidenca representa una adaptació cinematogràfica de la influent novel·la "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" de Dan Millman on es combina magistralment elements de drama, esport i espiritualitat per crear una experiència cinematogràfica única. El concepte del "guerrer pacífic" representa un lluitador que actua amb plena consciència i serenitat, transformant cada acció en un acte d'amor i presència.
