Hello there, We have recently moved here to Whangarei and I have four boxed bicycles that I need to reassemble, and then make sure they are running smoothly. If you have some experience with bikes, especially disc brakes, it would be really great to have a hand with this. Thank you!

Nature Cleanup at Waitara Beach, Otupaiia Marine Park and along the Waitara River on Saturday 25 July 10am (it is fine to be late!) - 12pm! Help us clean this beautiful location! This event is family and young kids-friendly! Your pēpi and tamariki are welcome! ALL WELCOME! You do NOT need to be “fit” or stay for the full 2 hours. Any help is MUCH APPRECIATED! 10am (or later) - Meet us at the Picnic tables along the Waitara River for a kōrero - briefing. Look for the Sustainable Taranaki flag! BYO gloves & buckets if possible, but we'll provide some if needed! 12pm (or earlier) - Meeting back to drop off all the trash collected (we will separate all items to divert as much as we can from the landfill) No RSVP required! Just show up! The aim of this event is: to clean this location the best we can to divert trash from the landfill to engage and educate our community about waste and recycling to create a fun and meaningful event for families to connect with the environment and take action towards bettering sustainability/conservation This event is part of Taranaki TimeBank and you can use your hours later to exchange skills, time and knowledge. I have a flat-pack drying rack for woollies, herbs etc which came minus the screws. I have a box of multiple types of screws - surely something in there will do the trick?! I also have screwdrivers, etc. Could someone a bit more experienced put the rack together for me please?

Hi, I am recovering from hip surgery, I am looking for some help with errands, picking up shopping, or scripts etc. Only like once a week. I love this beautiful area, and enjoy getting out exploring some of the great walking and hiking tracks. I've done most of the short/medium walks, and would like to try out some of the longer walks, but am a bit hesitant to head out on a longer walk that I'm unfamiliar with, on my own. It would be great to go with someone else for company and motivation! I have reasonable fitness but do suffer from some minor foot pain, so I'm not the fastest on downhill or uneven ground. If you enjoy getting out for walks, and would be happy to go at my pace, it would be great to meet up and go exploring together!
