We need someone with graphic design skills to help redesign our logo to represent our wide range of projects. Our current logo is focused on our clean up efforts through the Love Whangarei Monthly Clean Up and needs an update to represent the wide variety of waste minimisation projects we run. The volunteer will work with the board to redesign the logo and provide the logo in formats that can be used online and for printing on advertising material such as flags and vinyl stickers for our trailer. For Our Real Clean Environment runs the Love Whangarei Monthly Clean Up, Repair Cafe Whangarei, He Awhi Rito Envirohub and the Whangarei Tool Library. We are a charitable trust aiming to empower our Whangārei communities to restore the natural environment through environmental and waste minimisation projects. Our website could use an update/upgrade to make sure it is most effectively sharing information about all our projects with the public. We are looking for someone who is familiar with Wordpress websites to give our website www.force.org.nz an update. We need to add a few new pages and some more information to ensure that that it is effectively sharing information about all our projects with the public. This could become an ongoing role for someone interested in keeping the content upto date on a monthly bases for our monthly events Love Whangarei Monthly Clean Up and Repair Cafe Whangarei. For Our Real Clean Environment runs the Love Whangarei Monthly Clean Up, Repair Cafe Whangarei, He Awhi Rito Envirohub and the Whangarei Tool Library. Familiarity with using Wordpress for websites. Unsure how long this project will take. Will need to work alongside the board to decide on what pages/information is needed. Taranaki Timebank needs help with membership engagement and retention; We need a couple of social people, who are passionate about Timebank and who enjoy networking. These people, from any location, will engage with new members, helping them get Offers and Requests set up and start making trades, and encouraging quieter members to revisit and renew their profiles to encourage more trades. If you are interested there is scope to learn to run Get Started Sessions face to face and on zoom and make updates to our database for accurate reporting. This is ongoing and tasks are shared. This is mostly online via email and Zoom, with some in-person availability appreciated. Timebank hours to be traded for time spent engaging with other Timebank Members. We are still needing volunteers to help with a variety of admin tasks at our regular Repair Cafe event. Filling out forms, photo taking, helping with tea/coffee making and helping wherever needed. All will be explained. The Repair Cafe runs every last Saturday of the month from 10.30 to 12.30. Email or txt Caryl if you can help, either a one-off Saturday or as a regular.

We're always on the look out for people willing to share their Timebanking experiences with us, provide feedback on events and communications. It doesn't need to be perfectly crafted text! Anything from a few sentences to a page is most welcome, as are photos (but please make sure anyone in them is okay with them being used publicly). Taranaki Timebank wishes to invite people to work with us in a range of roles to help making this stronger and more sustainable as a grass roots initiative. “Lead by the people it serves / Aratakina e te iwi e mahi ana” Joining us as volunteer is an excellent way to help TTB obtain its goals of providing a sustainable social network based on needs being met through valuing and sharing. If you are a member and believe in its principles and want to do more there is an opportunity for you. By becoming an active volunteer you will get fulfilment from directly seeing the impact of your ideas through joint action while forming lasting relationships. Taranaki Timebank is looking for people to join in a variety of ways; Steering committee (2 positions) We are inviting another one or two people ideally who live in Mid and/or North Taranaki to join the steering committee and become a committee member. Membership engagement and retention; We need a couple of social people, who are passionate about Timebank, who enjoy networking and able to engage with new members. The areas are either North Taranaki or South Taranaki. This role involves conducting the “Get started sessions” and staying in touch with new members as they settle in and form connections. It is our wish for social groups to form that meet regularly in a casual social setting to form a strong network. Administration, communications and marketing We need public relations and communications support with website management, newsletters, social media marketing, event advertising and membership administration. Experience with computer systems is a must. Fundraising; We are looking for people with enthusiasm and / or experience in fundraising events to work as part of a team to coordinate with the Upsewing Lead and Coordinator with their initiatives and start other initiatives that help Timebank raise needed funds for platform administration costs and to increase its exposure in Taranaki communities.
