Do you have items you want to trade for time?
We have a couple of raffles planned, one with a focus on Winter Wellness (we will be selling tickets at the Hāwera Winter Festival), and Kai Resilience (We'll be drawing this one is spring at one of our workshops).
If you think you have something we could put into a box/basket to raffle off please get in touch!
Think warm blankets or slippers, hot water bottle cover (unsewn or knitted), wheat bags, dried lemons, honey, anything you enjoy in Winter!
For the Kai Resilience one anything garden or kitchen related would be wonderful.

We are running a fundraising Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings Hāwera on Saturday 7th June.
We are lucky enough to have helpers for the barbecuing but are still looking for donations. The more we have donated the more profit we can use to help run Taranaki Timebank.
Can you buy a bag of Sausages for us? Perhaps a tray of drinks? Maybe you have a contact or a local business willing to sponsor us?
You could also just come down and say hi and grab a sausage ;-)
Send an email to Michelle for more info.

We will have a table at Hāwera's Winter Festival on Thursday 19th June, it runs from 5 - 8pm with the main High Street closed to traffic, it's always a fun night with glowing face paints, food trucks, toasting marshmallows and loads of stalls and tables.
We are looking for people to help set up (at 4:30pm), tend the stall, and pack down (from 7:30pm). You can help out with any of these and also enjoy a lovely evening!
Get in touch if you would like to earn time for any part you help with.

Taranaki Timebank needs help with membership engagement and retention;
We need a couple of social people, who are passionate about Timebank and who enjoy networking.
These people, from any location, will engage with new members, helping them get Offers and Requests set up and start making trades, and encouraging quieter members to revisit and renew their profiles to encourage more trades.
If you are interested there is scope to learn to run Get Started Sessions face to face and on zoom and make updates to our database for accurate reporting. This is ongoing and tasks are shared.
This is mostly online via email and Zoom, with some in-person availability appreciated.
Timebank hours to be traded for time spent engaging with other Timebank Members.
For more information, please contact us on contact@taranakitimebank.org

Full training will be provided on what's required.
You can nominate the dates/times that suit you. These are usually held as a group at Puki Ariki but you could also offer one on one sessions if you prefer.
