Taranaki TimeBank Steering Committee Treasurer (This is a volunteer position)

Support Timebank by becoming a member of the Steering Commitee! Earn Timebank hours for volunteering. You can be from anywhere in Taranaki, we met monthly via Zoom. Primary Tasks: Manage day-to-day finances Outline of Responsibilities: Knowledge of book-keeping and financial management. Able to use online accounting software such as Xero. Can prepare a budget and monitor it carefully. Manages TTB Bank Account, paying contractors, fees, accounts. Creates and represents financial report at regular Committee meetings, and when required. Make sure financial reports are available and understood at all committee meetings. Produces an annual financial report if qualified to do so or in conjunction with the employed accountant. Knowledge and experience of current fundraising finance practice relevant to voluntary and community organisations is desirable. Ability to communicate clearly. Good computer skills related to filing online funding applications as required. High integrity, responsible, able to meet financial deadlines, great communications skills, passionate about community building and the values of Taranaki Timebank. Secretary: Primary Tasks: Minute Committee Meetings and AGM Outline of Responsibilities: Computer skills required for minute taking and sharing documents. Highly skilled written communicator. Organised and methodical. Able to take good minutes. Ensure that committee meetings and AGM are properly administered. Able to plan and prepare the committee meetings and the AGM with others as appropriate. Planning meeting dates, booking rooms, sending out notifications, minutes and other papers. Seedlings, pots and help for education exchange with CCS in Waitara

Taranaki Timebank is joining CCS on the 31st October, sharing our Kai resilience initiative at their Karanga Maha at Owae marae in Waitara after lunch. We are needing seedlings, food/ herb plants for participants. Also if you are enthusiastic about Timebank and growing Kai you are welcome to join us to share your knowledge. An Easy Way To Earn Time From The Comfort of Home: Taranaki Timebank needs a couple of social people, who are passionate about Timebank and who enjoy networking, to engage with new and old members and encourage them to update their Time Overflow

Taranaki Timebank needs help with membership engagement and retention; We need a couple of social people, who are passionate about Timebank and who enjoy networking. These people, from any location, will engage with new members, helping them get Offers and Requests set up and start making trades, and encouraging quieter members to revisit and renew their profiles to encourage more trades. If you are interested there is scope to learn to run Get Started Sessions face to face and on zoom and make updates to our database for accurate reporting. This is ongoing and tasks are shared. This is mostly online via email and Zoom, with some in-person availability appreciated. Timebank hours to be traded for time spent engaging with other Timebank Members. New Plymouth - Helpers for Timebank Get Started Sessions

Taranaki Timebank needs helpers in North Taranaki, to run regular face to face Get Started Sessions. Each member attends one when signing up, you'll be introducing them to what Timebank is and how it works. Full training will be provided on what's required. You can nominate the dates/times that suit you. These are usually held as a group at Puki Ariki but you could also offer one on one sessions if you prefer.
