Kia ora, I have been dealing with a few chronic illnesses for some time now and am moving across a paddock to a smaller and easier to manage whare. I need some help during the last week of April with some deep cleaning of my old whare. If there is extra time (and energy) for yardwork too, that will be a bonus, but the priority is the house clean. Even if you only have a little time to spare, I'd be immensely grateful for any efforts!

I love gardening and socialising, so I have formed a "Garden Squad" group currently meeting once a month, each time at a different members property to do a working bee there for them. This has been lovely but the group is rather spread out and I'd like to meet locally more regularly also. Anyone else keen to join that's in the kawakawa/maromaku/towai area that would like to try it out? We have a 9yo boy, a 4yo girl and a 2mo girl currently, also guinea pigs, chickens and 11 acres to figure out!! Would love to have some folks with kids join us so 4yo can make some friends (she doesn't go to any care facilities!) Look forward to hearing from you :)

I need someone to fell about five eucalyptus trees and cut the wood into firebox length pieces suitable for splitting and drying for burning next winter. There are ample trees available, so there will be trees that can be taken by the feller as well.

I need someone with a log splitter (approx 5 tonne) that can split and help stack the pieces in a shed. There are ample trees available, so any excess firewood produced, can be taken by the workers.

Have you heard of Body Doubling? It's a great way to get things done when you're feeling stuck. The other person could be on a call or in person and can be helping you or just there, doing their own thing. I need a support person by my side to encourage and motivate me to complete basic unpacking and organising tasks around my home. I would love it to be in person but would consider a call as well. Need several sessions over the next few weeks. Mondays and Wednesdays the best.
