Hi there
after the September Canterbury earthquakes, I enabled 2 short movies to be professionally made about the impact in our district, mainly at Kaiapoi & Pines/Kairaki. "Telling our stories, moving forward, looking back". We had creative communitiies funding (I adminisitered the fund then through the Council auspices) For one North Island conference presentation we popped them into one video so it had a shorter version.
To show these to timebank members and anyone else , I need the movie to be digitised so it is on a usb and can be plugged into Mandy's laptop. Be great to have the movie for our November movie evening night. PS forgot to say I have the movies on cds.

The Mid Canterbury Rural Driver Licensing Scheme is looking for driving mentors to help our rural newcomers to learn to drive. You will need a full license, a sense of humour and to remain calm while your student learns a new skill. Our adult clients are rural and for most, English is a second language. It's a lot of fun and you meet some amazing people. We provide support and the clients provide the car for lessons. We also reimburse mileage to cover costs when you travel to meet your student.

Taranaki Timebank is joining CCS on the 31st October, sharing our Kai resilience initiative at their Karanga Maha at Owae marae in Waitara after lunch. We are needing seedlings, food/ herb plants for participants.

I can crochet but not start very well. I'd like a few in-person sessions so I can start new projects with ease. I want to learn how to make website animation. I have basic knowledge in coding etc., so I'm wanting to jump right over to the animating and see how to implement this into website coding. Start from the end and work backwards. I'd want to sit with someone who knows how to do this and learn some practical steps and tips. I also have experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, so I have experience in animation and illustration.
