The Mid Canterbury Rural Driver Licensing Scheme is looking for driving mentors to help our rural newcomers to learn to drive. You will need a full license, a sense of humour and to remain calm while your student learns a new skill. Our adult clients are rural and for most, English is a second language. It's a lot of fun and you meet some amazing people. We provide support and the clients provide the car for lessons. We also reimburse mileage to cover costs when you travel to meet your student.

Kia Ora, after been in Aotearoa for 4 years and had to learn english from scratch to go on with daily life now I'd like to learn the actual language of this beautiful country. Also interested in culture and decolonisation topics. Ideally looking for someone that can guide me fortnightly or weekly either in Kaitaia or you're welcome to come at my place 15k south Kaitaia (where you can explore native bush and have a swim in the river!). I can offer produce from the garden and preserves in exchange, seedlings, yoga classes, graphic design, cook for you or teaching you Italian.

Kia ora,
I'd like to become a better player. Know basics but want to become more strategic. Have a basic set to use.
After school or weekends work best for me.
Thanks,
Agape.

I can crochet but not start very well. I'd like a few in-person sessions so I can start new projects with ease. I'd prefer to work with someone in person as you will be able to see what I am doing and guide me. We can have a cuppa in the process. Happy to come to you or you to me. I am on Milmoe St.
Thanks,
Patina

I want to learn how to make website animation. I have basic knowledge in coding etc., so I'm wanting to jump right over to the animating and see how to implement this into website coding. Start from the end and work backwards. I'd want to sit with someone who knows how to do this and learn some practical steps and tips. I also have experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, so I have experience in animation and illustration. Here's a link to examples: https://www.thebestdesigns.com/collections/websites-with-bold-colorful-illustrations-and-animations
