We would like to do a workshop on building a solar food dehydrator, and are looking for someone to teach this. We have the plans and the materials needed, just need the right person to tutor. Open to suggestions as to where to do it, but could be in Kerikeri.

Hello all, I'm looking for a few people to help me out with a large temporary art structure build I'm in charge of. I have some volunteers, but need a few more hands available in the next couple weeks to help with some things. My main priorities is making a couple of somewhat precision cuts in large timber beams. Being comfortable, confident, and experienced with a compound mitre saw is a necessity. I have a mockup piece to align angles from. Bonus if you have a 305mm saw to use, as the 254 I have will not do complete single cuts on the 150mm beams. There are 30 pieces total and the beams need 2 people to lift and move. Secondary is cutting some ply to size, stenciling, and jigsawing out designs. Bonus: long-distance driving, scaffold-borrowing/hire, trailer

Ideally someone who is able to turn their hand to a bit of building ? gib stopping ?? minor plumbing, Painting (for sure!!) maybe building a fence.
