Seedlings, pots and help for education exchange with CCS in Waitara

Taranaki Timebank is joining CCS on the 31st October, sharing our Kai resilience initiative at their Karanga Maha at Owae marae in Waitara after lunch. We are needing seedlings, food/ herb plants for participants. Also if you are enthusiastic about Timebank and growing Kai you are welcome to join us to share your knowledge. Manure for Community Compost Needed

We process event waste from community events in Whangarei. We're after some manure, horse/cow/chicken etc to help heat up our compost and get it processing faster. We're based in the avenues, so central Whangarei.

Putting up a tunnel house in New Plymouth

I have a Trade Tested tunnel house to put up in my garden. There will be a bit of digging to level ground. There are also 2 raised garden beds to put together and fill. These are jobs I would happily do for myself, but I am currently recovering from abdominal surgery. Can give hours, and trade a few kale, spinach and purple sprouting broccoli seedlings. Variety of trees needing to be pruned. Will require a chainsaw and tools. Ladder supplied. Prunings to be left onsite, would love these to be mulched for my garden.

Kaitaia - Do you have any spare seedlings

Spring is coming and we would love to see our plant stand brimming over with any spare seedlings or plants. We get lots of new or weekend gardeners looking for start ups and advice and help so having seedlings to share and encourage more people to grow their own veggies fits great with the Trusts kaupapa of caring for everyone and everything. If you do drop any plants of at the centre, please do leave you name so we can ensure you get your time credits. Thank you
