Music lessons - Plucking the Upright Double Bass

That's right - it's on my bucket list - I've always wanted to play the upright double bass - and not with a bow. I love music but never played an instrument apart from the recorder aged 7 … hmm nope that doesn't count does it?! I'm hoping it's not a long shot and that we have an MC TimeBanker with a passion for slappin' the upright double bass. Maybe we could start up a Mid Canterbury TimeBank band... watch this space! :)

Hāwera: Garage Declutter

I will be moving home in the next 6 months and need to start sorting boxes in my garage - you know - the kind that are full of belongings that I did not part with when I moved in. If you have a few hours to help sort things with me into keep/donate/upcycle and could help with delivery to Opp Shops perhaps, that would be SUPER helpful. I work from home so hours are flexible. Early evenings could work very well. A sorting session would be a great excuse for a cool glass of Kombucha!

Car shares from Manaia area to New Plymouth and vice versa

Anybody going on a regular basis from Manaia/Hawera/Straford area that goes to New Plymouth on a regular basis who likes the idea of doing a car-share? Am occasionally also going to Levin and back, so if you wanting to share a car let me know. My car needs fixing and though it is running, don't want to do too many long distance trips.
