Hi .looking for sumone to do sum house cleaning would only be abowt 2 hrs a week in Opua area ' Time credits/ trade off
Do you have a morning (or avo) available where you could talk to new people, read a book or do your handicraft and at the same time help man our little shop in Kaitaia. A shift is 2.5 hours. Any help is gratefully appreciated whether you could do odd relieving or a permanent shift. The job isn't onerous, in fact most people use the time to do their crafts, research or other activities as generally we are not overly busy. Some travel in from outlying areas to shop then come do a shift before going home again. We pay in time credits. If you know a younger person who needs work experience or a helping hand back into the workforce (CV might be a little bare?), this is a good opportunity to create a new start. Skills needed: be willing to listen, can do basic counting, be available to do a 2.5 hour shift either morning or afternoon, have some interest in environmental issues is helpful. I have a Trade Tested tunnel house to put up in my garden. There will be a bit of digging to level ground. There are also 2 raised garden beds to put together and fill. These are jobs I would happily do for myself, but I am currently recovering from abdominal surgery. Can give hours, and trade a few kale, spinach and purple sprouting broccoli seedlings. Taranaki Timebank needs help with membership engagement and retention; We need a couple of social people, who are passionate about Timebank and who enjoy networking. These people, from any location, will engage with new members, helping them get Offers and Requests set up and start making trades, and encouraging quieter members to revisit and renew their profiles to encourage more trades. If you are interested there is scope to learn to run Get Started Sessions face to face and on zoom and make updates to our database for accurate reporting. This is ongoing and tasks are shared. This is mostly online via email and Zoom, with some in-person availability appreciated. Timebank hours to be traded for time spent engaging with other Timebank Members.
