Hi everyone Ano Ano and Jo S. have been ramping up the waste fabrics recycling project and this waste is being made into mattresses for people who need to have better sleeping facilities. What is needed are covers to go over the mattresses. We would like to convert olds sheets or appropriate material into the covers. The vision for a working bee is to get together one weekend and production line a whole heap. So we would have measurers, cutters, pinners, sewers, overlockers, tea person. SO if you think this would be something you could do please let me know so I can start the ball rolling. And if you are out of our area you are still welcome to come along!! Paula

We have cut back all the greenery and sawn off most of the limbs. Please make contact if you can spare 20-30mins to chainsaw to ground level our broadleaf. My husband has chainsaw experience but no chainsaw to finish this job. We will be so grateful as slowly making our garden more manageable as we age.

I have 4 spindly apricot trees that are getting too high and 1 other bush that needs pruning. I would like someone to knock the fruit trees off about 3/4 way up as they are too tall. We have a ladder but nothing we can use to cut the trees. My husband is too frail to help hold the ladder, I can do that if someone else can get up and cut them. We live in Tinwald.
