Easy Hours! If you submit a photo of your trade TimeBank will give both parties a half hour! Easy peasy right? This inspires and encourages others to trade - and makes the newsletters ping with pizazz! We look forward to seeing a photo of your next trade! Just send it to the main coordinator at: contact@taranakitimebank.org
With power prices increasing and winter coming, now is the time to get an 'in home energy visit'. One of our energy educators will arrange to come to your home to run through some energy-savings tips and give you free LED lightbulbs, scoopies, temperature cards and other resources which help to keep your home warmer and healthier and your power bills lower. The visits are free (no time credits needed either). Anyone living in Mid Canterbury can get a visit if they are finding their power bills are getting high and they'd like some tips to reduce them. Just email Kate@connectingmc.org with your name, address and phone and we will organise with you a good time to visit.

Does your street need a tidy up - with rubbish or overgrown-ness? We have some members who are very good at picking up rubbish and tidying up local areas, because we are keen to support others and ensure that rubbish doesn't end up in the sea. Let us know if you need a rubbish pick up in your street, local park or another street you know of. We are willing to help already organised cleanups or generate a working bee to help out.

If you'd like to make a donation to the Community Fund for participating in one of our social events, or donate surplus timecredits please use this Offer to record your exchange. The Community Fund is used to pay timecredits to members for giving service in the community where there isn't a timebank organisation or individual to pay the credits. These are usually one off events like beach/street clean-ups etc. If you are involved with regular community work such as volunteering for a group, organisation etc have a chat with your local coordinator about the possibilities of getting your group/organisation signed up as an organisational member of Tai Tokerau Timebank.

Have you got a small event or workshop in mind (around 30 people or less)? Come and use our space! We have a decent front lawn and indoor area with toilet and tea and coffee facilities. Space is located at 15 Onslow Street Dargaville. ***The time and event you have in mind will have to not clash with our classes or workday hours (mostly Mon-Fri, 9-5), as the space is normally an office for two employees. A board member or employee will have to be available and present, as our space has a lot of circus props in it.
