I have lots of gardening experience and used to teach workshops for growing the most food for the least effort. The biggest problem most people have is the garden gets sway on them in summer, neglected in winter (usually due to weather and short daytime hours) and then there's a massive cleanup and weeding before you can get started in Spring again!
