In 2008 I trained & qualified as a yoga instructor with Art of Living, Focusing on BREATHing techniques. The goal of my yoga sharing/ facilitating is meditation 😇 Happy to do a one-to-one with a beginner or workshop for a group over 3 successive Saturdays. Previously we were fortunate to have use of a bright & airy room upstairs at the main Whangarei library for the group sessions. Currently I'm having fun doing some yoga Asanas on a WOBBLE board. Now I'm over 70 I feel the need to increase my balance & core strength. I was wind surfing when I was living in Australia. Tai Chi

The way I was taught was to think of the tai chi form as a moving meditation, so during the form I focus on slowing down my breath which in turn clears my head whilst calming and slowing me down, as well as improving awareness of every part of my body. I've been practising Yang style tai chi (mostly Chen Man-Ch'ing's Short Form) on and off for four or so years now so let me know if you're keen for a/some tai chi lesson/s!
