I love gardening and socialising, so I have formed a "Garden Squad" group currently meeting once a month, each time at a different members property to do a working bee there for them. This has been lovely but the group is rather spread out and I'd like to meet locally more regularly also.
Anyone else keen to join that's in the kawakawa/maromaku/towai area that would like to try it out?
We have a 9yo boy, a 4yo girl and a 2mo girl currently, also guinea pigs, chickens and 11 acres to figure out!! Would love to have some folks with kids join us so 4yo can make some friends (she doesn't go to any care facilities!)

Our newly established Kumarani Community Garden in Dargaville has 3 grafted heritage fruit trees in poor condition. We recognise that these trees are in their twilight years but would like to think that with some tlc they may be gracing our space for several more years.
