Lots of edible greens have self-sown in our garden and pop up for free every year, perfect for lazy gardeners like me :) You are welcome to come out to Diggers Valley with a bucket or two and I'll share everything that grows well here (on clay). For example: Land cress, miners lettuce, NZ spinach, celery piccolo, pak choi, fennel, borage, corn flowers, calendula, nasturtium, viola, cape gooseberries. Can also divide thyme, chives, parsley, mint, lemon balm, sorrell, jerusalem artichokes, rhubarb and comfrey for good measure. Make your life easy and delicious! :D
I can provide you with a gluten free sourdough starter with instructions on how to make a loaf of gf sourdough bread. Ordinary starter also available.
I have been making my own kombucha for a few years now and would like to share scobys and provide a 1 hour lesson on how to make and bottle kombucha. You will get a scoby to start you off, a bottle of kombucha take home and the know-how to bottle it. Please bring your own jar and bottle to the lesson.
