Language instruction - quick and easy! All languages welcome!

Kia ora My goal is to learn basic mihimihi in as many languages as possible, and I am seeking anyone who speaks another language to help me! It's a small ask, just meet me for a cuppa (I'm in Ngāmotu) and teach me 5 greetings in your language. In return, I can teach you how to greet people in te reo Māori, or donate Timebank currency. It's all about showing people the basic respect of greeting them in their own language. The 5 mihimihi are: Tēnā koe, Nō hea koe? Ko Makaira tōku ingoa, Ngā mihi, Ka kite anō. The English equivalents are: Hello, Where are you from? My name is Makaira, Thanks, Goodbye. I'm also learning how to respond with Welcome! I am from ..., What's your name? You're welcome. Have a great day. I like to record the speaker saying each phrase using my cellphone so I can practice later, as they take time to memorise. That's how I've learnt them in Hindi, Samoan, Mandarin, Cook Islands Māori, Filipino and Hawaiian so far. (Thanks everyone who helped me at the Multi-ethnic Extravaganza!) I already speak te reo Māori, English and Spanish, and welcome the opportunity to learn greetings in any language that is new to me! Nō reira, mihi atu, mihi mai! Mouri ora, Makaira
