Desde Itzala, estamos comprometidos con el desarrollo de la creatividad y la expresión artística. Por eso, buscamos un/a persona voluntaria dedicada al mundo del arte que se una a nuestro equipo y nos enseñe a inspirarnos a descubrir nuestro talento artístico.

Our website could use an update/upgrade to make sure it is most effectively sharing information about all our projects with the public. We are looking for someone who is familiar with Wordpress websites to give our website www.force.org.nz an update. We need to add a few new pages and some more information to ensure that that it is effectively sharing information about all our projects with the public. This could become an ongoing role for someone interested in keeping the content upto date on a monthly bases for our monthly events Love Whangarei Monthly Clean Up and Repair Cafe Whangarei. For Our Real Clean Environment runs the Love Whangarei Monthly Clean Up, Repair Cafe Whangarei, He Awhi Rito Envirohub and the Whangarei Tool Library. We are a charitable trust aiming to empower our Whangārei communities to restore the natural environment through environmental and waste minimisation projects. Familiarity with using Wordpress for websites. Unsure how long this project will take. Will need to work alongside the board to decide on what pages/information is needed. Need to add information for 2 new projects.

Do you have a morning (or avo) available where you could talk to new people, read a book or do your handicraft and at the same time help man our little shop in Kaitaia. A shift is 2.5 hours. Any help is gratefully appreciated whether you could do odd relieving or a permanent shift. The job isn't onerous, in fact most people use the time to do their crafts, research or other activities as generally we are not overly busy. Some travel in from outlying areas to shop then come do a shift before going home again. We pay in time credits. If you know a younger person who needs work experience or a helping hand back into the workforce (CV might be a little bare?), this is a good opportunity to create a new start. Skills needed: be willing to listen, can do basic counting, be available to do a 2.5 hour shift either morning or afternoon, have some interest in environmental issues is helpful.
