Hope Community Garden
The community garden is open 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 10.00 am – 1.00 pm. There is always something to do, weeding, planting, harvesting and a cuppa to be had. We are looking for people who are prepared to come and help when and if they can. The garden was closed for four months last year so we are currently looking to put more structure in the garden and keep on top of the gardening while we start again.

Community Kai
Community Kai is held weekly and is open to the community, with on average 100 attending each week. For many people, the meal is a way of connection with others. A gold coin donation is suggested for attendees to help with the cost of the dinner. The meal is served at 6.00 with a main course and something sweet to finish with. The meal is held at RBC, 111 East Belt, Rangiora

Community Kai cooking
We need a team of 4 – 6 people who are prepared to make meals for Community Kai. The recipe and food are supplied, meals are basic like sausage casserole, mac and cheese or similar. Cooking dates from 1pm on the:

Each week we have a team come and help from 5:40pm with final dinner preparation, serving, clean up including dishes. We are looking at 5 – 6 people prepared to help in a timebank team on the following dates:
