Sustainable Taranaki are looking for Trail Angels to support Clare's Cottage in Ōpunake at this years Backyards Trail.

Sun 1st Nov, Sat 7th Nov, Sun 8th Nov: 1pm - 4pm
What would I do as a Trail Angel?
Trail Angels will greet visitors, take tickets, record information and give directions. You will be a huge support for the host (also volunteering their time) to free them up to tour visitors around their backyard and answer questions.
How do we support you?
We will train you on the Trail Angels tasks and provide all the equipment you need. To say thanks, you will get a bundle card (5 x visits to Backyards), 3 pkts seeds, refreshments from the host and Timebank hours.

On The House is a charitable organisation reducing food waste and getting good, surplus kai to those whom need it. We operate bi-weekly popup frees stores direct to the public on Mondays and Thursdays with volunteer shifts running for an average of 2.5 hours between 2pm and 6.30pm. We also support the regions Foodbanks and Community Groups with surplus food Monday to Friday from our Community Food Hub (CFH) based in Waiwhakaiho. We utilise volunteers for food sorting at our CFH Mon-Fri between 11.30am and 2pm.
If you're interested in volunteering, we will put you on an induction shift to see how you find it and go from there :)
