We (Sustainable Taranaki) are teaming up with Sustainable Coastlines for the Big Clean!
Grab your mates, round up the whānau and join us for one very Big Clean.
On Sunday 20 September, communities across Taranaki are coming together to help keep our beaches, rivers and waterways looking their best.
Here's how it works:
📍 Choose a beach, river, stream or waterway that means something to you.
🧤 Collect your bags and gloves from Hirepool New Plymouth OR from our home base at the East End Surf Club.
♻️ Spend a couple of hours giving your patch a proper tidy-up.
🎉 Then join us from 2pm at East End Surf Club for an afternoon of food, drinks, music, games, educational activities and a well-earned celebration with the community.
Whether you're flying solo, bringing the kids, getting the work crew together or rounding up a few mates, everyone's welcome.
As proud partners of Sustainable Coastlines, we're excited to help bring the community together for another Big Clean. Every bag of rubbish collected helps protect the places we all love spending time in.
