I always wanted to learn this but I never owned a horse. Would be nice if you could teach me and my twin 15 year old girls. Still wanting to do this.

That's right - it's on my bucket list - I've always wanted to play the upright double bass - and not with a bow. I love music but never played an instrument apart from the recorder aged 7 … hmm nope that doesn't count does it?! I'm hoping it's not a long shot and that we have an MC TimeBanker with a passion for slappin' the upright double bass. Maybe we could start up a Mid Canterbury TimeBank band... watch this space! :)

I will be moving home in the next 6 months and need to start sorting boxes in my garage - you know - the kind that are full of belongings that I did not part with when I moved in. If you have a few hours to help sort things with me into keep/donate/upcycle and could help with delivery to Opp Shops perhaps, that would be SUPER helpful. I work from home so hours are flexible. Early evenings could work very well. A sorting session would be a great excuse for a cool glass of Kombucha!

Am occasionally also going to Levin and back, so if you wanting to share a car let me know. My car needs fixing and though it is running, don't want to do too many long distance trips. Happy to do short distance exchanges in the Manaia area to Hawera/Straford and back for the time being though. Car-share comes with shared fuel expenses
