Hi everyone Ano Ano and Jo S. have been ramping up the waste fabrics recycling project and this waste is being made into mattresses for people who need to have better sleeping facilities.
What is needed are covers to go over the mattresses. We would like to convert olds sheets or appropriate material into the covers.
The vision for a working bee is to get together one weekend and production line a whole heap. So we would have measurers, cutters, pinners, sewers, overlockers, tea person. SO if you think this would be something you could do please let me know so I can start the ball rolling. And if you are out of our area you are still welcome to come along!!
