I've a beautiful laundry basket I picked up in Tonga about 48 years ago. The base of it had rotted away from being on a damp floor. I'm wondering if anyone has weaving skills, even with harakeke, to redo the base. I do have a pic of it somewhere! y

Woven upright laundry basket, fabric could be dried leaves from a tree native to Tonga? Maybe similar as used in tapa cloth & other woven goods.
