Outline of Responsibilities: Knowledge of book-keeping and financial management. Able to use online accounting software such as Xero. Can prepare a budget and monitor it carefully. Manages TTB Bank Account, paying contractors, fees, accounts. Creates and represents financial report at regular Committee meetings, and when required. Make sure financial reports are available and understood at all committee meetings. Produces an annual financial report if qualified to do so or in conjunction with the employed accountant. Knowledge and experience of current fundraising finance practice relevant to voluntary and community organisations is desirable. Ability to communicate clearly. Good computer skills related to filing online funding applications as required. High integrity, responsible, able to meet financial deadlines, great communications skills, passionate about community building and the values of Taranaki Timebank.
Time commitment 6-8 hours per month including attending a monthly steering committee meeting.
